Be Vigilant!
14/10/08: At this week's Tandridge League Clubs Meeting we were informed that there was a recent incident where a man was spotted videoing at a Tandridge youth match without permission. As well as being a breach of League and FA rules there is also a child protection issue here so everyone is urged to be vigilant and to report anything or anyone suspicious to their managers.

Important Club Announcement
3/8/08: Hamsey Rangers regret to announce that The Football Association have confirmed the withdrawal of our Charter Development Club status, effective from 31st July. As we have stated via the Chairman's Message and also at our recent Presentation Evenings, all managers, coaches, players and families involved with the Club need to be aware of how seriously we take this news, which potentially impacts on funding coming into the club as well as how the club is perceived within the Football community.
It now falls on each and every one of us to ensure that the forthcoming season sees an improvement in standards at Hamsey Rangers, so that we can seek to have this decision overturned. To remind you, everyone involved with the Club is being asked to sign up to our Codes of Conduct as a condition of registration for the 2008-09 season and, as such, all managers and registered players should be aware of their responsibility to set an example in terms of their behaviour, discipline and sportsmanship at all times.
We want 2008-09 to be the season when we win back our Charter Status - with your help we can achieve this goal.

Charity Concert at John Fisher
5/7/08: John Fisher Sports Club is in dire need of your help. The club is suffering due to a lack of hot water in the showers. A campaign has been launched to repair the showers but it requires money the club simply hasn’t got.
On Saturday July 12th, the Fisher In Shower Hell Fund Appeal Concert Event (FISHFACE) will take place at John Fisher from 7.30pm.
Topping the bill will be Monkey Trap, plus a comedian who does warm-up for Frank Skinner (and I don’t mean he opens his cans for him!). Admission is £10 per head, but the bar is cheap and remember, a child’s life could be, well, if not saved exactly, at least made a little cleaner. Please come and support this worthy cause and bring all your friends.

Sunday Round Up
11/5/08: The Under 15 B's won their final game of the season, 4-2 against Addington Palace to draw level on points with Wickham Wanderers. However the Allstars' superior head to head record means that our boys will finish 2nd. Well done to them. Meanwhile, the Under 9 B's also cemented 2nd place with a final day 1-0 win at Otford.

Brave Under 11's fall at the last
9/5/08: Our Under 11's came up just short in their efforts to finish 2nd in the A Division. Julian Hanford's Surrey Cup Finalists went down in their final game to champions Tulse Hill on Thursday, but can feel proud of their achievements over the course of this season, which bodes well for the future. Well done Lads!

Under 10 B's confirmed as Champions!
8/5/08: Congratulations to our Under 10 B's, who were today confirmed as Champions of the West Division, when their recently postponed match against Battlebridge was formally awarded to them. With one game to play the B's lead Palace Guard by 2 points, but their far superior head to head record means they can't be overtaken. "It's tremendous for everyone involved," said manager Mick Leech tonight, "particularly the boys, who have worked really hard all season."
