Under 17 A

Hamsey's Under 17 A's are Champions of the C Division of the Tandridge Youth League! The team is currently managed by Ralph Makison, who took over at the end of last season from Phil Edmonds.

The team have been together since Under 10 level. There were already two teams at this age group so they became the Under 10 C team. They started their one and only season at mini soccer and were the only team to beat the eventual champions, eventually finishing in a creditable third place.

At Under 13 level they won the South Division title and were semi-finalists in the Trophy. The next season the team were promoted to the C Division and finished 6th at which point they took over the 'A' mantle after the A team folded.

Last season the Boys finished a respectable 4th. Ralph came in as coach, taking over the management of the team for the start of this season from Phil, who stood down for a well earned rest after being a manager for 14 years, running the two teams in which his two sons played.

The season started promisingly with a 10-0 win and ended with a run of 5 wins from the last 6 games as the boys won the title on the final day of the season.
