Under 17 B

Hamsey's Under 17 B's play in the B Division of the Tandridge Youth League, having moved up from last season's C Division. The team is managed by Toby Manns with Pete Mattison, Assistant Manager.

The Under 17B team are a close-knit group, having been together since 1998, when we started out as a group of boys enjoying a Saturday morning coaching session at Warlingham Park. This year's squad has 14 players - 8 of whom were with Hamsey when we joined the Tandridge League at Under 8 level in 1999-2000.

We have had mixed fortunes through the years, but are currently a team on the up. Last season following promotion from the South Division we finished an excellent 3rd in the C Division, leading to our elevation to the B Division for this season.

Our approach is simple. Whilst we play to win, we keep our eyes on the bigger picture - that each player should enjoy the game and should develop into the best footballer he can be. If you would like any further information, please contact the manager, Toby Manns.
